Pool Reopens at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

The pool at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter has reopened after a months-long refurbishment in Walt Disney World.

The Doubloon Lagoon pool reopened earlier this month after being closed and drained for refreshment back in February. It continues to feature the same themeing as before including Scales, the 51-foot-long snaking sea serpent slide. The pool’s hours of operation are are typically from 10 AM to 11 PM this time of year, according to planDisney.

The Doubloon Lagoon Water Play Area was also refreshed and construction around the pool bar, Mardi Grogs, has finished.

While this area was under construction, hotel guests were encouraged to use the Ol’ Man Island pool complex which is a short walk away at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

The Walt Disney World website still states:

From May 2024 through November 2024, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.
