Walt Disney World Theme Parks Reopens After Hurricane Milton

Walt Disney World theme parks are now open after the resort closed and had hotel guests shelter in place due to Hurricane Milton.

As of 9 AM on Friday, October 11, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are open once again during their regular theme park hours.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is still closed, but it is expected to reopen to all guests on Saturday, October 12.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park remains closed for planned refurbishment.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa remain temporarily closed. Guests are encouraged to check Walt Disney World’s Weather Updates & Information page for information on the reopening of these resorts.

For partially used multi-day tickets, ticket expiration dates will be adjusted to expire on October 11, 2025.
