“MagicBands” Coming to Disney Dream Cruise Ship

You will soon be able to use “MagicBands” on another Disney Cruise Line ship!

Why the quotation marks? Apparently, they are calling them MagicBand+ on land, but DisneyBand+ at sea.

Starting November 20, guests will be able to use these aboard the Disney Dream cruise ship.

They are available for preorder right now and if you do that, you will have more options to choose from and could get your name printed on the back of the band.

They work just like at Walt Disney World or Disneyland. You can use them to check in, open your room door, charge purchases to your room, get photopass photos linked to your account and more.

While the Disney Dream is the latest to allow the use of DisneyBand+, it is already available on the Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic. If you prefer, you may use your park MagicBand instead of buying a cruise-specific one. It will work just the same.
