Disney has confirmed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will use a virtual queue when it first opens on June 28.

Guests will have 2 chances to grab a boarding group through the virtual queue: at 7 AM and at 1 PM. Guests will only be able to join one boarding group per day.

Disney is also using a virtual queue for annual passholder previews.

There will be no standby queue in the first few days of operation for this new ride, but Disney does expect to open the regular standby queue shortly after that.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a regular Lightning Lane attraction through the Disney Genie+ service.

This means the ride will not be offered as a separate paid Lightning Lane attraction. Anyone who purchases Genie+ for the day will be able to select times to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The Disney Genie+ service is an extra charge (prices vary by park, by day). Guests can purchase Genie+ on their My Disney Experience app starting at midnight the day they plan to use it.
