Universal Orlando Resort has announced the first of the 10 house themes for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
Slaughter Sinema 2 was confirmed at one of the panels at Spooky Empire horror convention. It’s a sequel to the Slaughter Sinema house which debuted in 2018 and parodied B-list horror movies. Rooms in the house were themed as different fake horror movies. It is not based on any existing IP.
This year’s version will take place at the “Carey Drive-in” (Carey, Ohio is a fictional location used many times by Halloween Horror Nights). The house will also have new parodies of horror movies inspired by creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns, and more.
Halloween Horror Nights 33 returns to Universal Studios Florida at Universal Orlando Resort on select nights from Aug. 30 – Nov. 3, 2024.
