Disney/ESPN, Fox Corp., and Warner Bros. Discovery are teaming up to provide a new sports streaming bundle and on Thursday they revealed what they’re naming it.
Venu Sports is set to debut in Fall of 2024 and will combine ESPN+ with traditional live sports channels like ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNews, Fox, FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network, TNT, TBS and truTV.
Subscribers will be able to access the new service through a new standalone app and it will also be offered in a bundle with Disney+, Hulu, or Max.
This project was first announced back in February as a way to reach live sports fans who don’t pay for traditional TV services.
Agreements are still being finalized and this new venture still needs to gain regulatory approval by the Justice Department before launching.
