It’s a Disney Foddie’s dream! Animal Kingdom is rolling out brand new menus tomorrow, October 11. It’s quite a lot, so I’ve broken it down for you.
Harambe Market (Africa) – New Menu Items
- Chicken and Shrimp Rice Bowl
- Chicken Rice Bowl
- Shrimp Rice Bowl
- Beef and Lamb Kofta Pita
- IMPOSSIBLE Kofta Pita
- Harambe Salad with Chicken
- Mango Passion Fruit Cheesecake
The new rice bowls feature jollof rice with kachumbari tomato salad and tzatziki sauce. You can choose between chermoula-marinated chicken, peri peri-marinated shrimp or you can have both! Kids have a new option too – the Shrimp and Rice Bowl with peri peri-marinated shrimp, white rice, and a Cuties Mandarin Orange.
The Kofta Pita includes house-made beef and lamb kofta with tzatziki sauce, chermoula, and house-made chips. There is also a plant-based version made from IMPOSSIBLE kofta accompanied by a plant-based aïoli, chermoula, and house-made chips.
The new Harambe Salad with Chicken combines chermoula-marinated chicken with quinoa, grilled corn, black-eyed peas, and crispy chickpeas. It’s topped with a chermoula-herbed vinaigrette. There is also a shrimp option available.
The Mango Passion Fruit Cheesecake is the new dessert on the menu.
Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery (Africa) – New Menu Items
- Egg and Bacon Croissant Sandwich with Tomato Pepper Relish
- Breakfast Totchos with Eggs, Bacon, and Cheese
- Harissa Chicken Wrap
- IMPOSSIBLE Gatsby
The Egg and Bacon Croissant Sandwich with Tomato Pepper Relish is a croissant with a cheese omelet, crispy bacon, and tomato-pepper relish served with potato barrels. It’ll be available for breakfast.
The Breakfast Totchos with Eggs, Bacon, and Cheese will also be available for breakfast. It combines potato barrels, scrambled eggs, nacho cheese sauce, cheese curds, and crumbled bacon.
The Harissa Chicken Wrap is made with harissa chicken salad with vegetables and an avocado spread on a spinach tortilla.
The new, plant-based IMPOSSIBLE Gatsby is a pita pocket with plant-based picadillo, tomato-pepper relish, and crispy potato sticks, topped with a plant-based aïoli.
Tamu Tamu Refreshments (Africa) – New Menu Items
- DOLE Whip Orange Soda Float
- DOLE Whip Hard Cider Float
The DOLE Whip Orange Soda Float features DOLE Whip® Pineapple with orange soda and strawberry syrup on top.
The DOLE Whip Hard Cider Float is DOLE Whip® Pineapple on top of ACE Pineapple Craft Cider for those 21 and older.
Pongu Pongu (Pandora) – New Menu Items
- Cinnamon Roll
- Stuffed Pancake Sandwich
The new Cinnamon Roll is topped with icing, white and blue sprinkles and sugar pearls.
The Stuffed Pancake Sandwich is filled with sausage, guava paste, egg, and cheese. They also have a guava-less option if you don’t like the taste. THis item will also be avilable at the following locations: Drinkwallah, Trek Snacks, and select outdoor food vending carts.
Flame Tree Barbecue (Discovery Island) – New Menu Items
- French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese
- IMPOSSIBLE Burnt Ends
One of the newest items are the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese.
The IMPOSSIBLE Burnt Ends are paired with french fries and coleslaw on the side.
Pizzafari (Discovery Island) – New Menu Items
- Antipasto Side Salad
- Plant-based Italian Sausage
The new Antipasto Side Salad includes ingredients such as: cheese, sliced meat, grape tomatoes, and artichoke hearts.
The Plant-based Italian Sausage is served alongside a side salad with Italian dressing.
