Disney just released the new teaser trailer for the new Moana 2 movie.
This is set 3 years after the first movie and this was supposed to be a Disney+ show, but they reworked it into a movie.
This is what Disney says about the plot: “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”
In the scene where Moana is leaving her family, you can see her parents carrying a young child that may be a new little brother or sister for Moana.
Moana is bringing along a lot more characters on this new adventure. Pua, Moana’s little pig sidekick will be joining her and Hei Hei this time. Maui is back of course and Moana seems to have her own boat crew now.
